Accessibility
Many web sites contain significant barriers to access by not considering disabled users in the design phase. This web site design follows the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines to ensure that the web site is as accessible as possible.
Access keys
Access keys are keyboard shortcuts intended to help users who have difficulty in using pointing devices such as a mouse. Not every user has a graphic environment with a mouse or other pointing device - some rely on keyboard, alternative keyboard or voice input to navigate.
The access key shortcuts are allocated as follows:
- Key [ - Jump to the main content on each page.
- Key 0 - Accessibility information.
- Key 1 - Home.
- Key 2 - Sitemap.
- Key 3 - Made to Measure.
- Key 4 - Jewellery.
- Key 5 - Brides Gallery.
- Key 9 - Contact Us.
Activate access key shortcuts in different browsers like this:
| Browser | Version | Activate Access Key |
|---|---|---|
| Internet Explorer | IE 4+ (Windows) | Alt + Accesskey, then Enter |
| Firefox | FF 2+ (Windows) | Alt + Shift + Accesskey |
| Firefox | FF 2+ (Mac) | Control + Accesskey |
| Opera | v9+ (Windows or Mac) | Shift + Escape, then Accesskey |
| Safari | v1.2+ (Mac) | Control + Accesskey |
| Camina | (Mac) | Accesskey not supported |
